7 Things To Consider Before Investing

At some point, you will want to start investing your money. Most people jump into investing without much research, and then they wonder why they don't get the returns that they expected. When investing money, you should not be stressed or worried, and if anything you should have some fun with it. As long as you follow some steps before you begin, you will know you have no worries when it comes to investing your money!

1. Do Some Research:

You never want to blindly jump into investing, even with an investor or some help you need to research investing on your own. There are articles, groups on Facebook, even podcast dedicated t investing your  money. Your best bet is to take some time and explore them all, so that you get various opinions and even cool new ways to invest your money.

2. Learn The Lingo:

When you start investing, you will start hearing words you may have never heard. Money and finance in itself is it's own language, and if you want to make money you have to know how to speak it. It may seem confusing at first but the more you refresh yourself with it all, the easier it gets. When I first started, I actually had note cards to make sure I was understanding all my investments correctly, and trust me I was sure happy I did more than once.

3. Listen To Experts:

Before I put my money anywhere, I listened to tons of people who had either made a living of investing, or simply did it on the side to help increase there wealth. These people know the tricks, good and bad, and have already made all the basic mistakes that you can avoid by listening to them. If rich people give you free advice, you take it. You can easilygoto YouTube or podcast stations and find people who will tell you ways to really make your money multiply.

4. Explore Your Options:

There are tons of ways to actually start investing your money. Whether you want to go straight to the source (ex. Stock market, bank, etc.), use an app or website to assist in your investment (ex. Acorn, wefunder.com, etc.) or use an investor personally invest your money, always remember to do what makes you most comfortable. Daily life provides so much stress, investing should not be one more burden on your shoulders.

5. Expect Some Losses:

Investing always has ups and downs, and you must remember that this is not money you need, but money you are trying to flip. With all business investments, there are risk. Of course, some investments are riskier than others, which is anther reason to do your research. That way, you can know what to expect out of an investment and plan accordingly.

6. Make Sure Your Investments Are Legit:

The internet is full of help, and also full of scams. Before you get to excited about a new investment, always look into how legit it is. Investments are easily traceable, so if you cant find your investment many places online, you should reconsider. Always double check where your money is going before signing up or giving out bank information, as you don't want your information just anywhere on the web.

7. Take Risk In Your Comfort Level:

If you don't have money to spare, don't invest. when you invest in something, you should act as if it is gone. Most investments do better the longer they sit, and some even have a set time they MUST sit before you see any returns. You should never be losing sleep over your money, so don't make any investments that your comfortable with.

20 Easy Side Hustles

Everyone can use a little extra money these days, and a side hustle can easily turn into a full-time gig if you work right at networking. Below is a list of 20 easy side gigs that you can do from home.

1. Dog walking: If you like animals, this is the perfect extra gig to do. You can easily walk more than one dog at a time, and during the summertime will be the best time to try and get new customers. While taking them on walks, take them to a local dog park, where you can network and possibly make new customers.

2. Dog sitting: If you love animals, than here you go. Plenty of people go out of town all the time, and have to leave there little fluffster behind. Pet sitting is a great way to make extra cash, while simply spoiling a few cute critters. Make sure you have time to spend with them, as pets should never be alone in a new home for too long of a time.

3. Babysitting: Maybe animals aren't your thing, but babies are truly your weakness. If you take some time to truly make a fun spot that is safe for children, you will have a great business in the making. Make sure not to watch more children than you can handle, and always have an extra touch like fun activities or crafts for them to do.

4. Drive: If you can't get enough of cruising around town, then Lyft or Uber are perfect for you. Sign up takes just a few minutes, and you usually get approved in just a few days. From personal experience, i found it quicker and better to drive with Lyft when i did, but everyone has their own preference.

5. Waitr: Delivering food is a lot easier than delivering people around town, and now thanks to waitr it is possible. Simply make food deliveries for extra cash, which is great for those who don't necessarily want people around, but love to drive.

6. Surverys: People love the idea of taking surveys, and believe it or not it is possible! Simply click here to find a great list of survey sites to sign up for to make some extra cash today.

7. Gigs: There are tons of sights to do gigs on, including mystery shops and other small online tasks. Click here for a great list of gig sites to start earning today!

8.Mystery Shopping: This is a fun way to make some extra cash. Not only do you get paid for whatever you have to buy, but you make a few bucks for helping them out. Although it is hard to find real mystery shops, once you do you will see why its worth the research.

9. Test Websites: There are so many people who need website testing, it is ridiculous. Go to Userfeel.com, or other websites and you will quickly learn about the money in testing websites. Simply play around on them, and give your honest input.

10. Reselling: If you are great at snatching deals, it is a good hustle to buy great things on craigslist, or other sites that do reselling items, and then fix it up yourself. A little elbow grease, and you can quickly flip your money if you know what you are doing.

11. Make Something: If you have a talent, use it. Not everyone is able to make, or do, what you do. Make something you love, whether it is art, pictures, or music. Somewhere online, is a platform to start selling what you have to offer.

12. Investing: Investing is always a good way to make money, even if some sites take longer than others to see a return. However, there are tons of apps and websites that help you invest in stocks, or other businesses, for a higher return rate than a savings account would.

13. Promoting: If social networking is naturally your thing, than this is an easy side hustle for you. Take some time to build up a big enough following, and you can get paid in more than one way. You can do shout outs for small businesses, as well as work with larger companies to promote their products.

14. Freelance: There are a million freelance websites, although I personally stick to Upwork to find most of my work. With any site, just make sure that the payment is verified before you start a job, or else you might do a lot of work for nothing.

15. Virtual Assistant: This is a great job because everyone needs some extra help, and it can make you a lot of extra cash easily. Although it can take some time to find a legit position, and please beware of scams (if it sounds funny, it most likely is).

16. Teach Someone: Either join a tutoring website, like the ones that help kids learn English online. Or, make your own course on Udemy and watch the money roll in daily from your course. Either way, someone out there will pay you for what you can teach them.

17. Entertain: Entertainers will never go out of fashion. Whether it is a music artist, comedian, or even magician, if you like to entertain, someone will pay you to do this as well. It may take a few months of passing out flyers, but it is definitely one of the more fun side hustles.

18. Design: These days, everyone and their mom needs help designing something on the computer. Whether its a logo, website, social profile, or more, people are willing to pay some big bucks in order to take the hassle of designing off their bak.

19. Blog: Ok, Ok, let me not brag on my skills. However, with some work and a little involved in marketing, a blog can make money in a variety of ways. Whether its from ads, or selling products on your blog, blogging can bring in some real change, if it is on a good topic.

20. Ebooks: People still love to read, although more people are liking the idea of a book online better than on a shelf taking up room. There are a large variety of ebooks that can make you money, but that is another list all together.

6 Tricks to Makine Money Online

Making money online is not an easy topic, or else everyone would be doing it. However, it is a lot easier than most people think. Like anything, you simply have to know what you are doing. Below are some secrets to making money online, legitimately.

1. It takes TIME: There are so many websites that promise you thousands of dollars in days, or just a few weeks, and I am sure that with a lot of money invested that is possible. However, building a legitimate income online, and without a lot of advertising, takes time. Even with some advertising, it still takes time. Time to figure out your niche, time to build an audience, and time to make actual money on a daily basis. It can be done, with TIME.

2. It takes WORK: When people think of working from home, they imagine playing around all day (with whatever they love to do) and never actually having to work. This is far from the truth, although as you become more successful your work load will go down. You must always learn, work, and expand when building a business online. At first it will take work,A lot of work. Since most people will work jobs full-time while trying to build an income online, it can seem like TOO MUCH work at times. However, as income builds up, you will be able to get in a more steady pace that still requires daily work, but less daily work to maintain your business.

3. It takes SEARCHING: You can hashtag all you like, you have to attract customers, or readers, to your online business. In order to do this, you must show love to them, compliment them. When I first started my soap company, I made sure to go on my soap Instagram page and daily like peoples post who had liked mine. I would even shoot them a message with a discount code, just for liking my soap, so they could try it out. It takes time to build customers, especially because many people love a personal touch with business. It is all statistics, after so many "No's", you will start hearing "Yes."

4. It take POSITIVITY: Everyone jumps into working, especially online work, without realizing the obstacles in their ways. The only people who can't make money online, are those who give up or never try in the first place. You can not be a negative nancy, you must remind yourself everyday of the bigger picture. Today you work on this, and although you are tired of it, you know that one day it will add up to that. Stay focused, stay goal driven, stay positive. It will make your path to success that much easier.

5. It takes Persistence: Many people decide to work online, and then quit when their first few tries fail. They think everything online is a scam, and there is no point. Although there are millions of scams online, that is the same in every aspect of life. Simply take time to push through the layer of bullshit, and then you will see the greatness. You must work daily, hourly, and do not give up. People like consistency online, so if you start something, you might as well finish it. As you are persistent in posting or advertising your business, people will notice and see this as consistent and reliable. This builds love for your business, which grows repeat customers.

6. It takes Multiple Sources: You can not try this one thing, and then give it. Business takes multiple tries, multiple platforms to spread the word, and multiple times to actually get people to listen. Years usually do not make money in the first 5 years with a business on the street, although if you work online you can have your business making money in the first 2 years. Why is this? The internet makes it able for you to reach anyone who is interested in what you have to offer, you are not just local. This means that all you have to do is continue to spread the word, in any way you find possible, and eventually everyone is going to start listening. After some more time, they will follow, and before long, they will purchase.

4 Basics of Couponing

I am no expert in couponing, although I have followed and studied it for some time. It is not difficult, it is just simply something I do not spend time investing in. However, I do coupon simply. As in, I do not walk out of a store with $40.00 worth of products for $3.00, but I do buy $40.00 worth of things I need at that time for $30.00 or below.

Now, mind you. I do not clip coupons. I do not print them offline. I do not get newspapers. I simply do this by going to certain stores, and combining e-coupons (where you type in your phone number) with sales. Or, I go to Wal-Mart and use a few coupons I might have gotten mailed to me, or taken from a friend/families newspaper.

However, this is because I am not trying to save a bunch, just a little when I do have to spend. So, if you want to save a lot, it is easily possible. If you have the determination, you can easily be catching deals like other extreme couponers within the first month.

Below are 4 easy tips that when combined, will make you an extreme couponer in no time.

1. Collect, Collect, and Collect:
Coupons online, weekly newspapers, and signing up on the products websites are all good ways to get coupons. Over time, you will build up your coupons, which are good to save for when the product itself is on sale (explained later on).

2. Sign up for ALL rewards programs:
Most stores that you shop at have some type or rewards set up. Walmart has an app where you scan the barcode on the bottom of your receipt, and get money back on products that are cheaper at competing stores. Dollar General, Family Dollar, CVS, Rite Aid, and more all have programs and apps for your phone that you can join and either get extra coupons, digital coupons, or special points back that will add up over time. Sign up for all of them, or simply the ones you shop at most often.

3. Look at weekly sales:
Every week, make sure to take a glance at what is on sale. There are apps such as Flipp, or simply the apps for every store that you shop at that will show you what is on sale. Plus, you get sales ads in the mail and newspapers weekly. Either way, by seeing what is on sale every week is how you will learn to use your coupons wisely.

4. Combine:
The key to really winning at couponing, is combining your coupons with sales. If you find a coupon for .25 off some Dove dish detergent, but it is .99 regularly, you don't save much. However, if it is on sale for .50, then you are getting each bottle for .25, or half off. There are many websites and social groups to keep up with couponing deals as well, and you can use them to help you know exactly where to go and what to get.

5 apps to make money off your phone

When it comes to working from home, it takes a lot of time and patience. Most work from home gigs take about 6 months to 1 year before you start to actually see a decent income. However, there are apps that you can download today and make some extra change off of.
Like every type of work from home gig, it does take some effort, and with these apps you will not instantly get rich or be able to quit your job. If you need some extra spending cash, these are a great way to do that!

If you get a few of them, and use them all, after about a month you will see that extra income build quickly. It takes some time to get used to checking on them, but with some practice you will get the hang of it. The key to making money on these apps is consistency.

I have tried, and deleted, many "make money from home" apps. Whether they were too much work, too much hassle, or not enough pay, I am not one to have my time wasted. The 5 apps listed below are the ones that made me some extra change easily.

1. Fiverr

I absolutely love this gig site! Not only can you post all of your available gigs and how much they cost, but you can also search through people who need different things done and message them to get an extra job. I find this a great way to advertise your business, especially if it has to do with writing, editing, or designing anything on the computer. From transcriptions to e-book covers, the possibilities to making some extra change are endless!

2. Shiftgig
Shiftgig is great because it is a great way to connect with local people who need work. Whether you have experience in restaurants, hotels, administrative positions or more, you will find it on shiftgig. List all of your experience and then simply wait until you get connected with local businesses who need your expertise.

Click here to join Shiftgig today

3. Quick Thoughts
Quick Thoughts is an app that is easy to download through most phone app stores. It is full of great surveys that you can easily take on your phone. Then you get instantly paid after 2 weeks, which is great and a lot quicker than some other apps.

4. Checkout 51

This is by far one of the easiest ways to make extra cash. Simply download this app, and everytime you go shopping for groceries you upload your receipt. For certain products you get points back just for buying them! Then, all these amazing points turn into money back. How great is that to earn money as you spend it? 😉

5. Craigslist/Letgo/ resell apps

There are plenty of apps out there for you to sell your old junk. Honestly, if this is your niche, I would suggest getting all of them. From then on, it becomes a waiting game. Always checking to see whats a good deal you could snatch. From there, you either sell it as is, or fix it up and sell it that way. Some times you can grab some things for free, in which you are truly winning because you get 100% profit. Always save money you have made to invest in more products, since you will have some down times where there is nothing to flip or sell online. One key to working for yourself is always staying prepared.
Search "Letgo" into your app store and it should pop up. If you go to related, you will see tons of other apps to download and flip some "nothings" into cold hard cash.

Simple ways to make a little extra cash

When I first started working online, it seemed that making money was impossible. I went through various sites that led me nowhere, except usually to a bunch of dead ends and spam e-mail in my inbox. However, once I finally made it through all that, I started to discover actual legit ways to make some extra cash online.

Although some didn't make me much, it felt good that I was learning how to produce my own income, on my own time. Also, when you do a bunch of small things, they all add up at the end of the week. It takes persistency, to check on and keep up with your gigs. Although some seem to be glamourous, such as mystery shopping, they do actually take quite a bit of work and attention.

When I combined my small extra income, along with all my new amazing ways to coupon and save, I ended up with more extra cash than I had imagined. It was this small step that gave me more time, to work on my long term goals and business plans.

Below are some websites that helped me legitimately make some extra cash on your schedule:

Drive with Lyft
Until I became successful with long term investments, Lyft stayed on my phone. It is a great backup way to make some cash, whenever you have the time. There is literally not a bad time to drive with Lyft, so it is always a time to make some money. Combine Lyft with some gas savings rewards programs (checkout our SAVE money section) and you can have a great money maker.

BestMark
This website is a mystery shopping website that has a lot of gigs on it. Although some require specific cars or things like that, you can definitely make some extra cash easily, especially if you are willing to travel. They do offer pay for your travels, although with this company you can only schedule one shop a day. Still a great way to get out and make some extra cash while you are at it.

Marketforce
Marketforce has two different companies you can work for, one is mystery shopping and one is theater tasks. Both can make you quite a bit of extra cash, especially if you can multitask a few shops in one day. I registered for both, although the theater can take more work than shopping. When working with the theaters, you will be helping put up new movie signs and promotional shops, although it takes more time than it does effort.

Intelli-shop
This is another great website to add to your mix. They also have a variety of mystery shops, some of them include test driving awesome cars or eating at local restaurants. Although they are thorough, this is only to make sure that there studies are done right. When combined with the other sites above, this can bring in a great amount of extra cash every week

Userfeel
This is the last, but definitely not the one that will make you the less! This website is great because you can do your entire job right from home. You simply play around on websites, and tell them what you think. This is great because, you get to browse the web and get paid. Also, you get the chance to voice your opinion and help improve others websites.

Although these take some time getting used to, mostly just getting into a schedule with all of them, they do pay off. Most of them pay you quickly, and unless you make a ton of cash you won't even be sent a tax form at the end of the year. Just remember that this money does not have taxes taken out of it, so a part of your money should be saved to cover taxes at the end of the year.

Passive Income

It seems that everyone has a "get rich now" scheme up their sleeves these days. Although they all sound nice, and some fake very lavish lives on social media just to get attention, most of them are still sitting in a small living room trying to make a few bucks. However, it does make you think. Is there a way to make money, without actually working so hard? I mean, since when did living turn into simply working?

If this is something you have thought about in the past, you are not alone. However, even those who live more than they work, have to put in a ton of work at first. What people do not want to tell you, is that what they are living off of is passive income.

Now, marketing online is a new thing. Obviously, there is a lot of money in online marketing. However, one must always be aware of what they are getting themselves into. When it comes to MLMs, this is where you get yourself into trouble. These are companies that sign you up, having you think that you will make a ton of sales and sign up tons of people under you, and eventually you will have a network of people actually working under you and making you money, without you actually having to do anything.

But, what if you weren't trying to work for another company.  Not everyone is a salesperson, and some people are not a fan of working for another large company or new trend. So what do you do?

Is there a way to earn passive income on your own?

The answer is yes, although finding the perfect passive income is sometimes difficult. However, if you have a passion or skill you want to use as a means to support yourself, than you are already on the first step to starting your own passive income. Passive income is basically when you earn money off of something with little or no effort. Although it takes work to make whatever you plan on selling, usually once it is made you simply make money off getting people to buy it. This is easily done through online marketing, because so many people shop online these days.

If you think you can simply quit your job and sign up for a passive income, well you are sorely mistaken. At first, it takes hard work. Setting up your product, building a website or means to sell it, and obviously marketing it enough to the point that it starts to market itself. If you are willing to put in some hard work at first, over time your passive income will start to roll in. Although this is not the only way to earn a passive income, you can also start a passive income by investing your money in the right ways. That way, all you have to do is watch your money multiply over time. Where does one go, to invest in such a lovely concept? One thing to  remember is, these also take time, and you will have to wait to receive this passive income.

So, were should you start? Well, below are a list of some passive income ideas that you can use to get you started. Simply take one of these ideas, or use them to build your own idea up for your own unique passive income. The biggest step to starting a passive income, is understanding the concept and retraining how your brain thinks it has to work to make money.
Lending Club
When you think of a savings account, most people think of what little you actually earn in interest over time. Although lending club has a little more risk, the income it brings in is a lot more than just a simple savings. At the Lending club, people are looking for investments to get started in various business adventures. When you invest in their ideas, you get your money back, plus interest. The risk of course comes if their idea fails, but if you took a small amount of money ($20) and invested it into, say 5 or 6 ideas, you would have more of a chance when it comes to making money, opposed to losing it.

E*Trade
E*trade is a great place to look into index funds. Basically, it is like investing in the stock market, without having to worry about when to pull your money out, trade, sell, etc.

Gigs
Making money for things you already do, is always a quick and easy way to earn some passive income. They have programs such as shopkick and ebates, which allow you to make money back on purchases as you shop. Or, checkout lyft as a great extra income if you are always on the go! If you are busy doing certain things, there is a way to make a little passive income while you do it.

Photos
Photos are a great way to make passive income, especially if you are out and about taking photos often. They have stock photography websites now, such as shutterstock and istockphoto, where you simply upload photos of anything you can think of, and then wait until people start buying your photos! Although this is one that can take some time, it is not hard to snap a few photos as you go throughout your day.

Books
e-books are a new trend that will only get more and more popular over the years. If you have an author in you waiting to get out, now is the time to do just that. You can now self publish your own e-books, and the more your market them, the more popular they will get over time. Before you know it, you will have people interested and buying your book daily.

Real Estate
Although this is a larger investment, and you do have to understand what is going on in the market, it is not a difficult investment to make. Over the past few years, house flipping has become a huge trend. Although, that is not the only way to make money off of your real estates. A lot of people buy real estate and then rent it out monthly for a steady passive income.

Set up a website to sell a product
This is one that takes a little extra time and effort, but considering how huge the web is getting these days, it is definitely something to consider. Setting up a website with a product that sells itself, so that no marketing or product touching actually has to be done, is by far one of the biggest dream passive incomes there is. And, they are realistic, although most people don't understand exactly how much work has to go into it.

Make an online course or new app
The world is now virtual, which means that new passive incomes are all around us. One of the biggest ways to make it rich is simple, creating an app that catches the attentions of everyone, or making an online course that teaches something everyone wants to learn. Both are simple, and even those who do not know about coding can easily learn how to make an app.

These are just a few ideas on how to make a passive income, although like stated above the possibilities are endless.

5 tips for being more productive

When it comes to getting things done, it can sometimes be overwhelming to the point you just want to give up all together. However, life is all about how you perceive things. Starting something new, whether its working out, starting a business, or simply getting your house cleaned; is always difficult. The first steps are always the hardest, because you are doing so much extra work to actually get everything in order. Once things get rolling, and once you get into routine, things get so much easier. It becomes daily habit to do these things, not "something extra you never have time for."

However, in general, we as people are becoming terribly lazy. Which means, more and more people never have time to do anything productive. So here are a few basic tricks to help you become more productive:

1. NO MORE EXCUSES:

People find so much time for things that are not contributing to their goals, and then say they never have time. Honestly, one thing that got me up and moving was realizing how unproductive my days were. So, for one week I suggest you print out a weekly calendar with time slots. Every day, you start recording exactly what you are doing, even if it is just watching TV. At the end of the week, really look at what you do during the day.

Take a color highlighter and highlight everything you had to do. (work, errands, cooking, etc.) Then take a different color and highlight everything you did that was not contributing to you or your goals (TV, lying around, social media, etc.) You will start to see all these small times you are sitting around will really add up.

No one has excuses. I used to be the girl that slept till the last minute, hopped out of bed to wake up my kids for school, and once they were at school I sat around. Not much else happened other than sulking. I would work when we had gigs (I used to do construction) but even then in my spare time, I simply sat and watched TV or Facebook.

I woke up one day and realized how much my life sucked, and I was the only one to blame. That is when I got prioritized and became productive. Now, I have worked out, posted for my business pages, and dressed before I even tell my kids good morning. Now, we enjoy our weekends because we have extra cash. Now, we play outside because mommy finally has energy because she eats better and workouts. Now, I have a life. All because I decided to become more productive and stay prioritized.

2. GET INSPIRED:

This world is so negative, and there is not many places to turn that are positive. Social media is plastered with negativity and fake lifestyles no one can actually maintain. TV is either drama or news that will depress the hell out of you. So many people even in your own life are negative, and are probably putting you down enough to were you believe you can not do anything.

However, this life is what you make of it. You are not defined by what people say, or what is going on in peoples lives that you don't even know. I am not saying do not care about those around you, but you do not need to bring yourself down if you are trying your best. ( Don't lie to yourself though. If you are not doing what you need to, take the time to realize this so you know what you must change. Lying to oneself is never good for your  physical health or mentality.)

One of the first things I did when I wanted to change was I got inspired. I decided to change everything in my life, from business, to diet and fitness, and even my own personal growth. It took months of game planning and research. Before that, I got inspired. I found facebook and Instagram pages full of quotes and people who had did exactly what I was trying to do. I got rid of all negative people in my life. I found podcasts full of information to teach me and help keep me inspired. I even read audiobooks about how to retrain your brain, so that you think more positive.

It was not an easy step for me, as I do have clinical depression. However, since changing the way I think and my life, I no longer even need my depression medicine.

I failed so many times at first when trying to change. Every time I did, I would get upset and just want to give up all together. Then I would think about how my life would be in 10 years... the exact same. That was depressing, which means I had no choice but to get up and try again. So I did, over and over. Each time, I tried a little differently until I found a balance that worked for me. Things I never thought were possible were now simple daily routines to me.

It was all because I stayed inspired. When I failed, I would make an entire picture collage of quotes and I would make it my phone screen savor. Quotes about failing, not giving up, and success woke me up every morning. Id listen to more podcast than music, so even on the go I was mentally hearing something positive. Over time, it became easier to stay on track. To this day, I still make sure to take time to keep myself inspired.

3. PLAN AND ORGANIZE:

This one is the hardest step to do before things actually get easier. I got a planner, notebooks, pens, and pencils just to get organized. I took time to plan months and weeks in advance. I learned to plan for things ahead of time, and not last second, so that I could stay ahead of my days and be less stressed. I had daily reminders of what all I needed to do for everything.

I even have folders, just for everything I am working on. One for workouts, with all my routines in them and records to track how I am doing. One for meals, to mealplan for the month so we eat healthy but yummy, and not the same thing everyday (recipes included). One for each one of my businesses, along with all records I need for them.

It seems like a lot, but when starting new routines it is important to stay organized, so that you are not overwhelmed. Again, this takes some time, and a lot of trial and error to see what works best for you. Just because all this works for me, doesn't mean it will work the same for you. Also, depending on what you are trying to do all depends on how you should be organized.

However, in general a planner is the best place to start. I prefer the ones with months and daily schedules on them. Although I do not plan out my day hour by hour, I do like that I can throw important days on my monthly calendar to see how long until events come up. Also, if I like I can go to the week and make a list of everything I need to get done for the day (even new things you want to try to do, but might forget or let slip your mind if you don't write it down).

4. DAILY REMINDERS:

I am a huge fan of alarms, and yes I meant that "s" because I usually set about 5 or 6 every morning. On top of this, my alarms are set with amazing songs to help me wake up happy and even a picture of a quote that I want to read for that day. It is important that when you are working hard to change and be more productive, that you keep yourself on the right path. Right after i wake up and do my morning wakeup routine, I look at my planner. How come?

No one around you, not even those you love, are going to be there all the time to keep you on track and positive. If you do not remind yourself everyday on what you need to do, and why you are doing it, it becomes more difficult to actually get it done. On top of that, I believe you should always tell yourself positive things because if your spirits are down, you will physically have less energy to do what you must do.

So take some time every morning to remind yourself of some things:
What must be done. Why you  are doing it. Positive words to help you get it done.

5. KEEP GOING:

Even when you fall, because you are going to quite a few times. Do not get upset you failed, you are still learning. Realized why you failed, what you must change, and try again. I will talk about my falls a lot, because I failed for about 6 months before I finally starting seeing some progress.

That is 6 months of a lazy person to keep trying at being productive, when all I wanted to do was give up and continuing being lazy. Now, I look back and all I can say is thank god I know I will never be that person again.

I suggest you find others that will support you, depending on what you are trying to do. There are so many groups and ways to connect with others trying to do the same thing as you, and it is always easier to push forward when you don't feel along in doing it. It is easy to give up, when you are not looking at the big picture. Too often we act on actions that feel good now, but will hurt us down the road. When you stay focused on the future, what will become of your actions now, it is easier to keep going.
